Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our Front Office team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience from arrival to departure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, provide hotel familiarization, and assist with inquiries about hotel services and activities.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using computerized Front Office systems, ensuring all charges are accurately posted.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel offerings, local attractions, events, and promotions to assist with guest inquiries.
  • Manage guest accounts, ensuring proper handling of cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment according to established policies.
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all guest information.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Maintain awareness of daily room rates and occupancy levels to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Support other front office functions and collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of guest service.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in Front Office or a similar role within the hotel industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Computer literate, with experience in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team and deliver outstanding guest service
