Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and providing outstanding service to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and manage the registration process, issuing room keys in the designated welcome booklet.
  • Handle guest payments during check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate billing and settlements.
  • Provide personalized check-in services for VIP guests, catering to their specific needs.
  • Maintain and update guest profiles, ensuring accurate records of preferences and past stays.
  • Assist guests with any requests or needs throughout their stay, offering prompt and efficient service.
  • Enroll guests in the Jumeirah One Loyalty Membership Program to enhance their stay experience.
  • Maximize revenue by selling available rooms to walk-in guests at the highest possible rates.
  • Maintain operational readiness at the reception desk, ensuring it's well-stocked and staffed at all times.
  • Protect guest privacy by adhering to security protocols, preventing unauthorized access to guest information.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the hotel’s services and facilities to provide accurate recommendations to guests.
  • Oversee the reception email inbox, managing inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure punctuality and adherence to uniform and grooming standards during shifts.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable hospitality brand.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, Internet Explorer, and Word.
  • Experience with Opera and HotSos systems is advantageous.
  • A customer-oriented attitude, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
