- • Supervises day-to-day activities of firefighting within a particular Plant workplace.
• Conduct routine programmed Lectures such like Fire Fighting, CPR, HSE Policy, Watch Room Procedures, Appliances, Equipment’s, Pumps, Hydrants, Knots & Lines, Breathing Apparatus, Fire Extinguisher, Theory of combustion, Spread of fire, Method of extinction, Fix installation, Explosives & Fire Class Marking etc.
• Conduct routine programmed Drills such like PT, Squad drill, Drill from Hydrant with Fire Tender, Ladder drill, Pump drill with suction hoses & Pump drill from Hydrant with foam branch from fire tender, Combine drill & Relay drill etc.
• Drive & Operate Fire Tenders Such Like Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes (Meraj 6 Wheelers 18Ton)
• Conduct Mock Drills at Plant site.
• Perform Hot Jobs.
• Inspect & maintain water based fire protection equipment’s according to NFPA25.
• Inspect & Install Fire Extinguishers at site according to NFPA10.
• Inspect & maintain Eye Wash Station according to Z358.1-1999.
• Inspect & maintain Fire Tenders according to NFPA1911.
• Conduct ITM of Sprinkler System according to NFPA25.
• Conduct ITM of Hydrant & Monitors according to NFPA25.
• Conduct ITM of Hose Reel according to NFPA25.
• Conduct Inspection & Hydro-Test on SCBA according to NFPA1852.
• Operate, maintain & inspect all equipment’s & appliances of Fire Station.
• Inspect & Install Fire Extinguishers at site.
• Operate, maintain & inspect all equipment’s & appliances of Fire Station.
• Maintain and archive all documentation related to maintenance.
• Perform all operation during preventive maintenance of firefighting equipment.
• Operate & maintain pumps, valves, hydrants, flanges & pipelines system.
• Assemble and disassemble of centrifugal pumps.
• Inspect Testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler system.
• Operate and maintain all types of valves such like ball, gate, globe, butter fly valve etc
• Maintains fire station building, grounds, and related equipment by completing maintenance schedules.
• Investigates accidents and tackle their causes
• Arranges training programs on Fire Fighting measures within the workplace.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
• Serves as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the workplace.
