I Worked at Signature Culinary Solutions “We are a full-service, solutions-based company offering more than 20 years of 360-degree solutions for all aspects of the food & beverage industry.” From initial consultation to manufacturing and delivery, our group of companies offer a complete range of services for all our customers’ food development and production needs.

As one of the leading organizations in F & B domain, we catered to large aviation sectors including, but not limited to, Air Canada and WestJet, Retails stores (HelloFresh, Starbucks, Wegman’s, Loblaws, Walmart, etc.) and Healthcare Services across Canada and US.

I was reporting directly to my company’s President and was instrumental in designing and implementing some of the key SOPs. My performance was always measured based on the Annual Revenue Generation, Ingredient Supply metrics, skills in responding and winning RFPs, employee retention and Government Rebates.

Prior to the Food domain, I was in the Service Management domain which has taught me a great deal of achieving performance metrics (Response Times, Incident and Problem Management) and leadership.

I was the first point of contact in my company to all our vendors.  Before handing the requirements to my Buyers and Chefs, I personally made all the decisions on Pricing, Negotiation, and Contracts. My motto was always treating Vendors like Partners as I believe that both grow together for any business to be successful. I nominated ingredients across all the 21 kitchens in Canada that was under my umbrella.  Big contracts always were discussed with the President.

I have also created and worked on ‘Rebate Programs’ with the vendors to generate additional revenue to the company.

Being a very good multitasker. I built my Procurement team from ground zero and trained them constantly on every aspect of Procurement.

My expertise is Sourcing, and a very good negotiator.

Rebate Program - we achieved a minimum of $1 M (CAD) per year just from a couple of projects.

I was recognized for this in my company and in the Supply Chain industry. I dealt with more than 100 vendors across North America and had a wonderful rapport with everyone, be it a sales Manager or their President.
