Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Execution Planning
  • Develop project plan, convert into execution plan, prepare checklist with Specs / BOQ.
  • Conduct risk assessment and hazard identifications for all projects and activities.
  • Project Budgeting responsibilities include initial budget plan, shortfall or surpluses in the budgets, recommendations for cost reduction, value engineering for cost effectiveness.
  • Engineering and Design Verification
  • Verify design to ensure the performance of various following systems of the project:

HVAC, Public Health Engineering Services, Electrical, Low Current system, External Storm Water System, Swimming Pool, STP, WTP, Laundry, OTs, MGPS, Elevators, Escalators and LPG services.

Carry out processes like Duct Designing, Pipe sizing for Chilled and Hot Water systems, ESP calculation for Fans, Pump Head calculations, Heat Load Calculations, Grille/Diffusers selection etc.

  • Installation, Commissioning & handing over
  • Pre and Post Tender Support, Contract Verification.
  • Plan, organize, strict implementation, control, evaluate, complete and handover multiple MEP construction projects from Inception to Handover as per schedule, specs and budget.
  • Manage approvals, Installation, Progress Monitoring/Acceleration.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules, milestones and regularly monitor progress against established schedules, deadlines.
  • Lead and Manage teams of professionals.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monthly invoicing and payment collection to meet revenue targets.
  • Provide constant communication and project progress reports and schedules to clients and Management.
  • Represent company during regular Client/Consultant/Contractor meetings, contracts negotiation and Kickoff Meetings.
  • Evaluate, supervise activities of Staff/Subcontractors through KPIs.
  • Monitor, record and claim variations including claim of EOT.
  • Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authority’s regulations.   
  • Value Quality
  • Facilitating continuous improvement activities to eliminate the (RCA) root cause analysis of problem and prevent the recurrences of non‐conformance.
  • Monitoring adherence to quality standards of ISO & maintaining documents for implementation of the same in the department.
  • Vendor & Material Management
  • Ensuring quality check, maintaining material records at site (Inventory control), reconciliation of materials at site to avoid mismatch and to claim Material at Site during Invoicing.
  • Building Customer Relationship
  • Interact with Client/Consultants/Contractor on daily basis, understand their needs and address problems in order to generate customer satisfaction and repeat orders.
  • Team Management
  • Select, develop and deploy right candidate/teams for Design, Planning, Installation, T&C to meet project execution deadline.
  • Setting objectives of the individual employee, conducting timely performance reviews, feedbacks, provide guidance and training.

 

  • Other Value addition work
  • Responsible for bid evaluation, project scheduling, cost benefit analysis, claims reviews and negotiations, construction supervision and all general management and supervision of project execution and completion.
  • Perform as liaison for Project Management when tender is awarded and becomes job
  • Closely monitor and control the design and tender documentation.
  • Obtaining Quotations for various Project Materials, negotiation with Suppliers, ordering of material within planned Costing using comparison methods considering Cost/Quality/Lead time etc. and arranging material delivery as per planned schedule. Carry out all Supplier Evaluation & selection methods as per ISO standards.
  • Preparing & implementing SOPs, Policies and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Review and determine contractor performance against contract specifications and takes remedial action, as necessary, up to and including contract termination.
  • Carryout internal ISO audits to ensure compliance to the Quality Management System.
