I have been working in the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA) from Oct. 2003 to the present. In more than 5 years as inspector and supervisor in AML/CFT division ar PMA, my responsibility assuring that institutions under the PMA umbrella (Banks, Moneychangers, Micro-finance institutions, Payment service companies) are complied with AML/CFT requirements according to FATF recommendations. Additionally, following up on updates on local and international freezing lists. Sending Suspicions Action /Transaction Reports to Financial Follow UP Unit (FFU). Moreover, Enhancement of the environment of AML/CFT through issuing regulations and Instructions that affect KYC Customers Due Diligence (CDD). And a member of the preparation team for the Mutual Evaluation of the State of Palestine.
