 Teach assigned classes in keeping with community school philosophy.
 Before the first day of class, provide the division with a copy of the course syllabus.
 Evaluate student performance in accordance with student learning outcomes as stated in the course syllabus.
 Conduct student evaluations of instruction in accordance with established policies and procedures.
 Maintain accurate records of attendance and grading of students and submit required records according to published deadlines.
 Participate in faculty development activities as required; adjunct instructors must complete "New Faculty Orientation" during their first year.
 Advising student on career issues.
 Organizing and delivering classroom lectures to students.
 Evaluating a students’ class work and assignments.
 Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
 Recording and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
 Classroom management.
 Developing English lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum.

 Supervising students' research activities
 Completing continuous professional development (CPD) and participating in staff training activities
 Carrying out administrative tasks related to the department, such as student admissions, induction programmes and involvement in committees
