Material Specialist
• Check (alongside material engineer) civil and MEP materials for quality.
• Make periodic visits to project sites to follow up the progress of work and to ensure the right materials are used for the right job (including quality).
• Recover reusable materials from project sites and put them again into inventory using oracle.
• Identify and assign appropriate names to recovered materials.
• Evaluate work performance and proficiency of low-level employees.
• Prepare and summit reports to management on daily basis.
Civil Engineer
• Responsible for setting out structures and establishing building levels.
• Coordinated and supervised teams and site activities - verifying and approving Bills (invoices and variations) of subcontractors.
• Review drawings of specialist subcontractors and integration.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that all materials used, and work performed, are as per specifications.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
