Key Responsibilities
• Complete Performance Checks on commercial food service equipment including Chillers, freezers, cold room, refrigerator, ice machines, ovens, fryers, and complete beverage equipment preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and removals.
• Complete in-service training of staff on proper cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment, and planning and execution of monthly Preventive maintenance.
• Able to work in shift duties or in different timings & carry out other requests by Operations manager.
• Keep close track of Daily checklist, PPM schedule, material stocks Sheet, quotations & bills.
• Effectively manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiency and assist in energy conservation program.
• Identify operating challenges that lead to kitchen equipment failure in restaurants.
• Effectively manage stocks, materials & able to co-ordinate with purchase, Finance department and vendors.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock in damp, humid, or freezing conditions
• Ability to work on ladders, roofs & able handle general maintenance like electrical, plumbing, civil, mechanical, carpentry.
• To ensure that all materials needed to perform the jobs are available prior to work commencing.
• Serve as a member of the Restaurants and rescue team.
• Comply with Restaurant/outlet and Head office S.O.P.
