General Responsibilities
 Plan and control the scope, quality, resources, milestones and deliverable of the project from setup phase to
the project closure.
 Implement BIM technologies on large-scale construction projects Own the planning, execution and delivery of
assigned BIM projects.
 Manage a team of technical resources to execute and deliver BIM projects.
 Develop and implement BIM Standards, procedures and best practice to meet the project’s deadlines.
 Create and Maintain BIM Models for Project Specific Requirements
 Create 3D Model of HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Chiller Pipe, Drain Pipe, Water Supply, Drainage, Storm Pipe, Fire
Protection, Fire Alarm, Cable Tray, Trunking, Conduits, Pneumatic Tube, Medical Gas Pipe and Revit Family.
 Identifying model constructability issues and proposes solutions.
 May lead clash detection, RFI resolution and Coordination during the pre-construction efforts.
 Prepare shop drawing sheets with section, dimension, Text and Annotation for field use and review.
 Prepare Quantity Take-off from 3D Model.
 Prepare Wall/Floor opening dimension for MEP Service.
 Assist in preparation of documentation necessary for the distribution of RFIs (Request for Information)
 Maintain revised BIM Models showing changes and RFI answers.
 Update as-built and revised Building Information Model and maintain revision log.
Project Management
 Create & manage the projects BIM execution plan and ensure the project team is following the project’s
standards and procedures.
 Monitor the BIM modeling process to meet time, resources and profitability objectives and perform corrective
actions to meet those objectives.
 Escalate to the BIM Manager any situation that could prevent achieving the project objectives (change in scope
of work, miscommunication, coordination issue, resource deficiencies, technical challenges etc.).
 Meet with project stakeholders to resolve design issues.
 Define Quality Assurance procedures and oversee Quality Control activities that will ensure the health of the
BIM models.
 Attend weekly project update meeting with other BIM Manager and Division Manager.
 Lead weekly project update meeting with allocated resources.
 Prepare and submit a weekly Time Sheet for the assigned project.
 Define and enforce Project Archiving and Document Control procedures.
 Produce construction document for one or more disciplines Coach, mentor and supervise the process of
virtually constructing a building by production (modeling and documentation task).
Construction & Engineering
 Designing the ducts & chilled water piping system layout and analysis.
 Prepare material sub-metal for consultant’s approval.
 Prepare shop drawings for the MEP services with the help of draughts person.
 Coordinates with draughtsman for preparation of “As built” MEP drawings and develop other documents related
to “As built”.
People Management
 Provide leadership and direction to assigned project resources (BIM Engineers/Architects and Draughtsman).
 Allocate and manage resources within the assigned project (schedule, role and responsibilities).
 Resolve dispute and performance deficiencies.
 Recommend development plan for assigned resources (training, job rotation etc.)
 Participate in the recruitment, training and performance evaluation activities within MEP discipline.
