1- Develops Brazing & welding techniques , procedure and application of welding ,equipment to problem involving fabrication of metal's ,Utilizing knowledge of production specification , properties and characteristics of metal and metals alloy and engineering principal .
Conducts research and development investigation to develop and test. New fabrication process and procedure , improve existing or develop , new welding equipment develop new or modify current welding method , techniques and procedure ,discover new pattern of welding phenomeno or to correlate and substantiate hypothesis .

Prepares technical report as research and development & preventive maintenance investigation .
3- Established Brazing & welding procedure to guide production and welding personal relating to specification restrictions , material process , pre and post heating requirements , which involve use of complex alloys , unusual fabrication method
,welding of critical joint and complex postheating requirements .
4- Evaluate new development in Brazing&welding field for possible applications to current welding problems or production process
5- . Direct and coordinate technical personal in performing inspection with established Brazing & welding procedure , restrictions and standard in testing weld for conformance with national code requirements , or testing welding personal for certification .
6- contacts of other agencies engineering personal or clients to exchange ideas, information or technical advice concering welding matters .
7- May perform experimental welding to evaluate new equipment techniques and materials .
