Closely monitor site activities and conduct inspections to ensure quality of work is in compliance with the technical specifications. Inspection of testing and commissioning of mechanical installations and materials e.g. HVAC including ducting, chilled water piping, FCU’s installations/testing, air balancing etc., plumbing: water supply and drainage piping installation, leak test, pressure test, gravity test, pumps installation etc.
Review of shop drawings & material submittal in collaboration with mechanical engineer. To make sure that any activity offered for any inspection has an approved shop drawing, Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). To make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report. Snagging and de-snagging of mechanical installations. Review of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and as-built drawings in collaboration with mechanical engineers. Performs inspection of equipment’s including Water Cooled Chillers, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Air Cooled Condensing Units, Energy Recovery Ventilation Units, Templifiers and Hot water systems. Performs inspections, give theoretical solutions at equipment breakdowns and perform troubleshooting. Prepares documented reports and Job Orders for a particular spare parts needed to replace for a defective equipment/unit.

Prepares various schedules such as weekly schedule, schedule manning for machine shutdown and annual machine shutdown. Prepares fixed cost variance explanation, daily reports, monthly reports, annual reports, CAPEX and annual budget, AFE and machine shutdown activities to be coordinated to shutdown meetings and disseminates to crew. Conducts meeting and seminars. Orients new personnel on the department. Checks and receives all PMD supplies, and monitors operating supplies. Initiates draft requisition and stock requisition preparation of supply needed on machine. Coordinates with other Planner’s on status of work request (card). Assisting the Team Leader in preparing the annual shutdown activities. Maintains good record / data of all machine clothing and machine ropes. Performs efficient, safe and systematic preparation and installation of all the machine clothing’s. Conducts safety inspection at department and other areas in the mill operation.

Operates CNC machine and changing drill bit in desired type and exact tool. Checking of measurements in every set of finished products milled. Supervised crew for good quality service. Observing safety and eliminates hazards in the working area Constructing new ideas and shortcuts for fast and quality work. Attending seminars and daily meetings.
