• Involves checking, repairing and servicing heavy machinery’s, heavy equipments, systems and infrastructures.
• Coordination with the supervisors of other departments in the joint works (such as meetings, procurement and Network).
• Comprehensive inspection of the factory building and its equipment according to the program .Repair assets in the field of air conditioning, electricity, carpentry, plumbing and others.
• Follow up all stored materials and spare parts and ensure the availability and proper storage.
• Supervising the maintenance work assigned to the department as per the time and quality required.
• Follow up the execution of preventive maintenance program for all factory machinery, fleet & building areas.
• Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance. Responding to breakdowns. Diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
• Preventive maintenance for heavy equipments of CATERPILLAR, HYSTER, KOMATSU FORKLIFTS, WHEEL LOADER & TENNANT SWEEPER MACHINE.
• Procure spare parts locally, internationally from GERMANY, ITALY, SWITZERLAND & INDIA for the plant machinery & factory buildings.
• Arrange import of required material through courier services on urgent situations.
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
• Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
• Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
