· Stage wise Inspection of coating on steel structures.
· Verify surface and weld defects to be removed before starts of surface preparations.
· Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and paint application.
· Execute Painting / coating inspection work as per company project inspection test plan.
· Giving adequate training and advises to blasters, painters, foreman and supervisor to improve quality on regular basis.
· Monitor performance of the blasters and painters.
· Responsible for incoming painting material inspection and has to ensure whether these materials suits to meets the requirements of project specifications.
· Prepare all necessary QA / QC documents related to painting and handed over to clients review.
· Review of calibration status of all testing and inspection equipment’s.
· To undertake test qualifications for spray painters and abrasive blasters.
· To co-ordinate and conduct trials for paint systems for prior approvals.
· Maintain standards of safety and comply with company safety health and environment management systems.
· Coordination with client regarding inspection requirements and schedule of inspection.
· Ensure dry film thickness as per specifications and standards.
· Conduct adhesion and curing tests.
· Check color, gloss level and uniformity of the applied paint.
· Raise a NCR, when didn't met our quality requirements.
· Reporting to QC manager/ Engineer.
