PROFILE

Having an accounting degree, professional diploma, 5 years CA-articles-ship completed and 8 years of post-articles managerial experience, I am a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional accountant and auditor, seeking a position in accountancy/ audit/ finance with an objective to:
• Utilize all the rich professional and managerial experience; sound knowledge of international accounting and auditing standards, cost principals and generally accepted practices; and excellent skill set acquired from working 12+ years in the field of accountancy and audit.

FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS
• Examination, analysis and review of financial information, accounting system and operating practices, policies and controls to evaluate the efficiency of resource employment and to identify profit and (or) cost-effective improvements.
• Perform project cost forecasts/ budgets, cost tracking, monitoring & controls. Preparing budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected and actual results and utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of organizational objectives.
• Preparation and Interpretation of Financial statements as per IFRS.
• Planning, controlling, executing and documenting audit work in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISA’s), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and other Guidelines.
• Internal Audit Function, internal control & compliance assessments.
• Team Management and Supervision (8+ years’ experience of managing 5 to 12 persons in single/ multiple teams).
• Report Writing, Proposal Writing and Drafting of SOPs for SMEs.
• Expertise in VAT, Income & Excise Tax accounting.
• Management and Handling of Fixed Assets and Inventory.
• Bank/Cash Receipts & Payments.
• Handling of Account Payable / Receivable.
• Reconciliations - Bank, Suppliers, Debtors, Inventory.
• Payroll processing.
• Inter-company Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in ERP software – QuickBooks, Peachtree.
• Command on MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Prolific interpersonal skills, attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
