I am currently employed by The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education. It was their interested in me which allowed me to move here and work in this beautiful country. I have quickly established myself as a dedicated, respected and knowledgeable member of staff at Abu Dhabi Secondary School. I now find myself looking to peruse employment which is more specialised and more coherent to my areas of higher education and interest.

I recently completed my M.Sc. Sport and Exercise Nutrition at one of the world’s leading universities for nutrition, Loughborough University, set to graduate in July 2019. My postgraduate masters allowed me to complete my dissertation which focused on the “Influence of acute exercise on coronary heart disease risk markers in healthy smokers vs. non-smokers”. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Abertay Dundee, achieving a 2:1 classification in B.Sc. Sport and Exercise Sciences. During this time, I produced a PHD standard dissertation and achieved one of the highest grades across my entire year through a nutritional supplementation intervention focusing on “Does the mitochondrial targeted antioxidant ubiquinone MitoQ10 have any influence on exercise adaptations?”.

I have been involved in nutrition, coaching, general and health exercise education for years in both paid and voluntary positions. I have worked alongside the likes of Judy Murray, working as a sporting ambassador with her Set4Sport programme with the sole purpose to increase physical exercise and awareness. I have volunteered with Active Schools organisations in Glasgow and Dundee, delivering high quality enjoyable exercise and education to primary school children. I have completed 1v1 consultations during my undergraduate, working with 1st year students implementing interventions to improve their health, knowledge and awareness of health and exercise sciences. I have also held head positions for organisations throughout my experiences, with a detailed list explained in my CV. You would be hiring a well-rounded and determined young professional in me.
