I am writing to express my keen interest in the position for Teacher of Science and Math and I would like to be considered for the same. I strongly believe that I am aqualified candidate for this post. I would like to take the opportunity to outline a few key skills of mine which makes me the rightful candidate:
Having worked 10 years including 2 Years in UAE Schools, I have demonstrated my ability to work well under pressure and be a positive role model for others.
Having completed my Bachelors in Education, I have enhanced myself with a comprehensive understanding of the pragmatics of curricular design and instructional practice, but also a global understanding of education as a societal enterprise.
While performing my duties as a Math and Science teacher, I have always set and maintained high standards of teaching and learning.
Working closely with my superiors and mentors, I have managed to grasp a good understanding of school leadership and management skills.
Being a passionate and confident teacher, I go to great lengths in making my lessons interesting and productive and I would ensure that the curriculum meets that expectation.
Having said that, I am highly committed to an experiential and creative approach to learning with high expectations of students’ achievement and behavior.
I work well with all my fellow colleagues and continually strive towards building positive working relationships with them, which I believe should be one of the important traits of a leader.
Being fully aware of the educational purposes of a school, what educational experiences are likely to serve those purposes, and how to effectively organize and evaluate those experiences, I have always given my department the best.
With my passion and knowledge in computers and technology, I always ensured that my teaching is digitalized, which could be accessed from home by students and parents alike.
Keeping parents informed about their children’s progress and working closely and constructively with them is something I take very seriously.
I have spenta reasonable amount of time attending CPDs within my school and externally to explore new instructional methods in the classroom to ensure each lesson in fun-filled and active learning.
Last but not least, I have always supported the HOD in ways to improve tracking of students’ progress and attainment.
My qualification combined with my 10 years of experience has helped me to be creative and communicate effectively with others and I hope that these qualifications would make me a strong addition to your esteemed School.
