I was excited to see your opening for the fore mentioned post and I hope to be invited for an interview.
My background includes serving as Customer care -Cashier within both general shop management and retail environments. Most recently, I am working at the Duty Free as a Manager/ Cashier, where my responsibilities include handling customer sales transactions, preparations of daily foreign cash transactions, PDQ (Credit Card) batch breakdown for various cards transacted as well as float cash balancing. Eventually, end-month report of the above and petty cash expenses summary. Sales and Stock taking reports of various Departments like Perfumes, Cigarettes, Watches, Jewellery, Confectionery, Handicrafts, Alcohol (Spirits) and Books. Customs Bonded items, Monthly Returns to the Revenue Authority.
Previously, I worked under extreme pressure i.e., attending all international flights for nearly three (3) years without assistance or being relieved on leave. I demonstrated the ability to work both day and night shifts as the situation demanded. Precisely, I resolve a variety of issues and complaints (such as billing disputes, after sales returns. I consistently met my goals, handling all flights of the day and night along with our sales team. Honestly, these achievements can only be attained through discipline, hardworking and being well organized. While our head office is in Nairobi hence, independent and reasonable decision making’s a priority.
