Greetings!

I am glad to apply for the position advertised. Besides M A in English language and literature, I am a CELTA -certified English Language Trainer from University of Cambridge and also IELTS certified trainer from British Council, Mumbai. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor of English at Gudlavalleru Engineering College, India. However, I had a rich experience of working as a teacher of English for 6th to 10th grades at SASI English Medium School, one of the best schools in Andhra Pradesh during. I have provided the detailed information regarding my teaching experience in my CV for your perusal. Above all, I love teaching young learners and it has been a passion for me. What's more, I use interactive and task based teaching methods with the help of technology ( Smart board, Audio and Video) in the classroom which makes me the most suitable candidate for this position.

At present, as part of my professional development, I am pursuing my Ph D in ELT in part-time mode from Bharathiar University, India. Moreover, I train the novice faculty in Oral and Written Communication Skills as part of Faculty Development Programme run by English Language Teaching Centre.

My duties in the department in my current job:
a)Trains the students for IELTS.
b)Handles first-year, second-year and third-year classes of BTech.
c)Faculty Mentor for the junior teachers in the department.
d)Faculty coordinator for Peer Mentoring Project for students run by the college.
e)Responsible for imparting soft skills and communication skills in the students
f)Prepares students to face interviews.
g)Conducts group discussions, mock interviews etc., which enables the students to face the challenges of their career.
h)Trains the students in neutralized, mother-tongue-influence-free English accent.
i)In charge of Publication Committee of the Institution.
j)Held the position as an Editor of the newsletter of the college’s Technolight .
