• To give an adequate explanation to the patients about doctors profiles/procedures/charges etc. and care with hospitality during their waiting time.
• Make follow-up appointments, confirmation/rescheduling of the appointment. Screen telephone calls, take messages for staff and providers, properly transfer telephone calls, make patient reminder calls etc. as a routine in the front desk.
• Scheduling surgeries for the concerned doctor.
• Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints; refers patient complaints to appropriate designated personnel as needed.
• Preparing all the approvals before the surgery or the investigations are done.
• Coordinating with the doctor, operative theatre, insurance team, and the patients.
