Duties and Responsibilities: As Project Engineer :-

• Co-ordinate with CAD team for preparation of shop drawings and obtain Consultants’ approvals before start of site activities.
• Involve in quantity take-off of ducts, pipes, insulation, grilles/diffusers, VCD’s, dampers etc and handover the same to procurement team for placing order.
• Co-ordination with site foreman and supervisors for execution of HVAC works.
• Execute the work according to client’s requirements, shop drawings and specifications.
• Installation of HVAC Equipment like DX units, AHU’s, FCU’s, FAHU’s, Exhaust Fan’s etc.
• Installation of HVAC services like ductworks, insulation (aluminum foil, nitrile rubber, thermal acoustics etc.), CHW pipe work & Valve Packages etc.
• Coordinate with Suppliers for getting materials delivered on time in order to avoid any delays during project execution in order to achieve project completion as per approved program.
• Responsible for successfully commissioning and handing-over of all HVAC works and approvals of all Mechanical services.
• Responsible for planning and co-coordinating the HVAC works.
• To ensure that the project budget is not exceeded in terms of cost, time and quality.
• To study the tender drawings, tender documents and specifications for any discrepancy with ‘Issued for Construction’ (IFC) drawings.
• To assist site Construction Manager and Project Manager for all site related works.
• To ensure quality and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
• Co-ordination and follow-ups for inspections with Consultants to obtain approvals for works executed as per approved drawings and method statements.
• Resolving any HVAC related issues/queries arising at site
