Duties and Achievements
• Supervised and managed MEP scope of works by overseeing work implementation and proper coordination with the project main contractor & main consultant.
• Assisted project managers to manage all sub-contractors appointed to carry out works related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection & ELV systems.
• Attained authority approval through liaising with the local government utility departments such as DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority); DCD (Dubai Civil Defense); Etisalat Telecommunications for approval of electrical, fire alarm & detection, telephone system drawings respectively and other utility services connection.

Duties and Achievements
• Supervised and managed all electrical related works in coordination with approved UTT sub-contractors and directly reports to the MEP project manager.
• Attained authority approval through liaising with the local government utility departments such as ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Co.); AADC (Abu Dhabi Civil Defense); UTT (Al Reem Island); Etisalat Telecommunication for approval of electrical, fire alarm & detection, telephone system drawings and other utility services connection.
• Raised queries and clarification on inaccuracy of some IFC drawings and specification via substantiated RFI’s.
• Validated accuracy of completed shop drawings, material submittals & other documentation and their compliances with project specification, IFC drawing and local authority standards prior to submission.
• Ensured electrical works carried out are as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame plus monitor progress in conjunction with project plan programme.

• Raised queries and clarification on inaccuracy of IFC drawings and specification via substantiated RFI’s including collaboration with project consultant/client to resolve raised queries.
• Obtained approval of raised NOV’s – Notice of Variation’s & Variation Claims due to unforeseen items not shown in IFC drawings that are required to complete the project with an additional 15% amount of project value for Dragone Theatre.
• Ensured installation, inspection and testing of all the electrical items such as MV/LV panels, DB’s, generators, transformers, BMS system, fire alarm, ELV & telephone systems work implemented meets the specification and the project requirements.
