1- Manage the daily logistics operations of the company within regions of Dubai, South Africa and Turkey as focal point, not limited to:
• Import and Export Operations Management
• Customs Clearance
• Warehousing Operations and 3PL management
• Distribution Operations

2- Manage and Coordinate closely with Regional Freight forwarders (3PL) and Bulk Terminals
• Manage and Exploit the best performance from logistics service providers
• Evaluating and continuous improvement on Safety practises for handling of dangerous materials
• Process compliance and performance monitoring- including managing KPI’s

3- Replenishment Planning for the assigned Regions
• Replenishing goods from manufacturing locations to destination locations by following the replenishment planning process.
• Constantly identifying and effectively addressing distribution issues to prevent supply disruptions to customers.
• Carefully planning inventory and maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels, in order to ensure that optimum stock levels are maintained and available at all times for the consumer market as well as for production,
based on sales and production forecasts.
• Manages and communicates about shortage situations and supports shortage management

4- Initiate, develop and implement work process and system Enhancements as well as operationalise logistics strategies and drive related projects and initiatives.

5- Participate with Global Teams to leverage best practices from Other Regions, in addition to participating in implementation of freight tenders with Carriers.
6- Understand global Logistics financial requirements and support logistics and supply chain manager in driving financial visibility via effective cost driver management – by ensuring Planning transport & warehouse cost productivity.

• Integral Role in setting up logistics operations in UAE, South Africa and Turkey during the company’s transition after acquisition of Epoxy Chemical division from DOW Chemicals.
