I am a native Russian speaker with fluent English tested at Advanced High level by ACTFL. I have a PhD in applied linguistics from one of the leading Russian universities in Moscow, Moscow Pedagogical State University. This degree was evaluated and judged to be the equivalent of a PhD by the Foundation of International Services Inc. (FIS). This degree evaluation service is a member of NACES, the only organization that is recognized by the US State Department.

Back in Russia I worked in several universities, including three years as an Associate Professor of Moscow Pedagogical State University. I have extensive experience developing and implementing lesson plans and teaching materials. I taught practical English and read lectures in different aspects of linguistics including American English cultural studies.

After I moved to the USA, for three years I worked as a phone interpreter for OnLine Interpreters Inc., first as a Customer Service Interpreter and then as a Medical Specialized Interpreter.
