Ronald is an IT Audit Professional with more than 14 years of IT experience. He is currently working as an IT Audit Manager planning and carrying out IT and business process audits. He carried out SAP implementation and security audits, business reviews, Project Assurance, Quality Assurance and best practise reporting on all audits at E.O.H (Twenty Third Century Systems) before moving to Al Rajhi Holdings. Prior to these positions Ronald was employed by Lifestyle Holdings as the Group Senior IT Auditor for 2 years and 3 months. He was acting as Group Internal Audit Manager in his last 3 months at Lifestyle Holdings. He planned audits and reviewed Lifestyle business processes and controls around ICT and business operations, and recommended to management and Board on ICT best practises. He worked at Ernst and Young (EY) as an IT Advisor for 5 years where he was involved in IT audits scoping, planning and execution of IT audits.
Part of the audits includes IT governance reviews, data analytics, revenue assurance, network security reviews, project assurance, bank certification and forensic audits. While at EY he was seconded to EY South Africa for two months where he was also assigned to work on SOX controls in Tanzania for a week.
Ronald also worked at Rainbow Beverages as a Senior IT Analyst for a year. He was responsible for, ICT policy development, systems implementation, project management and Systems administration. Prior to joining Rainbow Beverages, Ronald was a Senior Analyst Developer at Manweb Systems for three and half years. His main duties included understanding user requirements and developing tailor-made insurance, financial and administrative systems. He also assisted in quality assurance and training of users.
He has knowledge of Finance, Banking, Telecoms, Beverage, Logistics, Distribution, Insurance, Mining, Manufacturing, FMCG and Oil & Gas industries. IT and business audits, ICT advisory, project management, data analytics, IT Management, systems analysis and development form part of his 11 years of work experience. He is highly analytical and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. He is a team player and is quick to learn new concepts. A man of integrity, Ronald has also initiated ideas and works with minimum supervision.
