Experience
Project Engineer Electrical
• Broad based experience in phase of electrical scope of works from planning through completion including engineering, construction, closeout, handover, closely working with client, consultant, vendors, subcontractors and multi-disciplinary project team. Contracts Engineering and administration of various EPC projects and procurement process in Middle East.
• Key role in achieving joint venture with ABB Saudi Arabia to expedite switch gear projects in SABIC and SAUDI ARAMCO. Achievement as Regional Projects Head in representing various vendors and sub vendors within Kingdom. Primary liaison of vendors in UAE for MEP projects planning, site survey and bidding preparations. Successfully managed and executed projects with a budget range from $5 million to $20 million until the current year.
• Assessed, designed and assigned cost to reliable and safe switchgear and lighting LV products for various Petrochemical, Gas and Steel industries. Initiated and negotiated for technical and commercial aspects with vendors resulting in awarding of 10% of the projects.
• Having 5+ years in contracts engineering, contracts managing, administering, tender processing, execution and projects management. Coordinated complex electrical works with work crews in excess of 50+ people during numerous intensive weekend closures.
• Proficient use of MS Project, manage Audits, QRQC, KPI, initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFI’s. Negotiate acquisition of all major project equipment such as lighting, transformers, cables, switchgears, HVAC, Telecommunications, Fire & Security systems.
