Summary of Area of Responsibility as finance function:

• Manage the accounting transactions and maintaining the General Ledger; setting up new accounts and cost centers when required; ensuring reconciliation of control accounts; ensuring correct allocation of expenditure to cost centers.
• Preparation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual management reports including financials with in the deadlines to facilitate management decision making.
• Preparation of budgets, monitoring of the profit and loss of the company, and suggesting measures for improvement
• Reviewing & designing of internal control systems of the Group & suggest improvements where necessary.
• Managing and reconciling of all company bank accounts; ensuring adequate funds are available to meet expenditure requirements and liaising on a regular basis with the company's bankers.
• Preparing and filing of VAT returns periodically.
• Liaising with the company's auditors on the annual audit.

Summary of Area of Responsibility as audit function:

• Preparation of full set of financial statements in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Perform and supervise the broadest range of auditing and accounting issues from start to end, oversee engagements, potentially one or more assignments simultaneously.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of one or more staff members, support on-the-job training, and evaluate their performance.
• Evaluate the client's internal controls and prepare an audit program outlining the extent of sampling required, schedule the engagement, and document approval by the Engagement Principal.
• Responsible for quality of deliverables (Internal Audit Reports and External Audit Reports) to clients.
• Supervised subordinates on the application of external and internal audit methodologies which includes identification and review of controls.
• Performed the special audit assignments like Due Diligence, Fixed Assets Verification and other assignments based on client engagement.
