I am a qualified English teacher, passionate about education and possess a strong work ethic. Currently I am Head of the English Department in an International school here in the United Arab Emirates.
As teacher I am goal orientated and believe that motivating students to achieve their true potential is the key to a successful teaching and learning environment. I actively strive to provide students with a stimulating, challenging, and healthy learning environment that will allow them to become active participants in their own learning experience.
I have experience teaching a range of different grades as well as preparing students for a range of different English exams including IGCSE, SAT, TOEFL and AP English Language and Composition. My experience while working in a highly academic, exam focused international school, has ensured that I have excelled in the areas of planning and classroom management.
