• Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse supervising all functions & processes including ordering, receipt, accounting, storage & dispatch of goods.
• Planning and allocating warehouse space and material handling equipment ensuring optimum utilization of space & other resources.
• Developing & implementing work plans and staff allocations assuring completion of all warehouse tasks aligned to the achievement of company business objectives.
• Coordinating and ensuring execution of maintenance programs for warehouse equipment including automated storage & retrieval systems, warehouse management system & material handling equipment.
• Monitoring & ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures & guidelines related to operations, safety, health & environment. Create safety awareness & improve compliance through daily toolbox talks.
• Planning & managing regular disposal scrap, damaged & insurance claim materials ensuring generation of targeted revenues.
