1. Securing R7 000 000.00 per month income from Transnet Ports SOC, which are in Richards Bay, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Port of Nqgura, Cape Town, Mossel Bay and Saldanha Bay. 

To achieve this, I had to be present on a weekly basis to build sound relationships with the key personnel and focus my attention on their needs. 

2. Establish foreign suppliers of Parts and Spares that are Original Equipment from Manufacturer. In doing so I was able to open up 30 day facility with these people for up to €25000.00 and $35000.00 respectively. 

3. Train and develop 3 subordinates on how to cultivate, grow and develop a sales strategy and sales pipeline. 

4. Train and develop 3 subordinates on the appropriate etiquette in order to approach and introduce themselves professionally to potential clients and customers, both telephonically and face to face. 

5. Train and develop 3 subordinates on how to successfully maintain and sustain a professional relationship with existing and new customers to benefit their careers, personal skills and the business. 

6. Brainstorming sessions with Directors and Workshop managers to allow Sales team to get involved on the floor to learn and understand the technical aspect of the business in order to effectively manage client requests and questions. 

7. Brainstorming sessions with Directors to discover methods and ways of empowering the Sales team to understand the time frame allocated to specific projects, jobs and tasks. 

8. KPIs and Performance Management with subordinates to grow and develop them in their roles, positive reinforcement of achievements and coaching of mistakes and shortcomings. 

9. Developing a daily and weekly forecast of plans and activities for Sales team. 

10. Refining quotation process and wording to best suit the business and client for a better understanding and an easier decision. 

11. Development of Sales report both weekly and monthly showing all activities of sales team and completion percentages. Pivot tables and bar graphs also used for this purpose. 

12. Drawing up of sales targets and budgets.

13. Introduction and integration of new ERP system into quoting, invoicing and stock systems. 

14. Manipulation of system to show Budget VS Actual using bar graphs and percentages. 

15. Achieving sales targets and monthly budgets enabling company to purchase new tools and equipment to improve service offered.
