Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet customers and communicate with them with a view to determine their orders.
• Maintain a positive work environment by working and communicating in a courteous and professional manner with all guests and co-workers.
• Understands the product knowledge of all food and beverage menus to be able to make suggestions to the guests.
• Operate cash machines and POS to calculate customers’ bills.
• Place printed bills in folders to be presented to customers.
• Answer customers’ questions regarding billed items.
• Inform customers about available modes of payments.
• Take cash payments or process credit and debit card payments and ensure that customers sign receipts.
• Prepares cashier’s summary and tally it with Micros (POS) reading at the close of shift.
• Prints and tallies transaction list from credit card machines with physical check and micros reading.
• Performs the duties of a waiter; take orders and serve food and beverage.
• Check with guest to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Communicate with guest to resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
