I have successfully achieved the initial completion of the Project comprising of the new Construction of road connecting NR32 road to the sea side in Duqm, “The new special economic zone”. Total length 6.8 km, 2 no R/A and 2 links leading to Gate1 & Gate 3 of Duqm Refinery. The project was completed within Schedule and Budget (ROM 7.18 m, USD 18.67m) and to client expectations. This was achieved with a highly competent and hands-on Project team. The initial scope of works included the construction of Huge RC open channel for storm water drainage to the sea side 2.1 km long, crossing under the main road in two locations by 3-cell Box Culverts 4x4 m. Construction of future utilities culverts and ducts for Gas pipe lines, oil supply pipe lines and power cables serving all stake holders and end users in the zone, extensive temporary works & Excavation works to -12m below the FRL, Reinforced Concrete Box Culverts, complete with Lighting, Guardrail and Reinstatement / Compaction works with selected fill material.
The Managerial duties that I accomplished successfully are:

As great achievement in my service period was the winning of Land Mark Project, Construction of Safwa / Rahima Causeway Bridge – 1200 m long (352 m. SR), comprising of steel pipe piles 1040 mm outer diameter (1000 mm) inner one, using steam hummer for pile driving, pile length average 30 m. Over the piles reinforced concrete cross head on which after pre-stressed girders 30 m. long will be launched. This project directly was estimated / quoted by me. Some of my managerial tasks and achievements are listed below:
- Design verification of the Tender Design jointly with clients in order to achieve the most economical, best functional and operational design revision.
- Study & review of Abha International Airport – Innovation, reconstruction and up-grading. This project was awarded early 2014,
- As managing Technical Division, all workshop drawings for all running projects were delivered on time.
- As managing Procurement Division, the most optimum and competitive prices were achieved with very reliable terms of payment in respect of the project conditions and approved budgets.

My Managerial role during this period involved the responsibility to be The Head of Supervision Department (500+ employees), supervising various and extensive Highway Projects in excess of thousands of kms, inclusive of Bridge Structures, Piling, Drainage structures & Earthworks (Cut & Fill), located throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These projects notably included high profile Interchange junctions.
