I am writing to apply for the position of Senior Manager, Partnerships & Marketing (Location-Dubai), as I am interested in business communication, marketing, public affairs, event management and project management.
I have a degree (Hons) in Mechatronics Engineering from The University of Auckland in New Zealand, graduated in 2004 and was the Senior Executive Corporate Communications for PETRONAS Iraq based in Dubai.
I am currently in charge of the revenue growth of corporate sales for a local UAE company, The Smart Group and also in charge of branding and events for the Malaysian Business Council, an NGO which I am passionate about.
During my employment with my previous employer – PETRONAS (a Malaysian oil and gas company), I have developed a wide range of skills in connection with corporate communication, stakeholder management, corporate social responsibility, corporate events, budgeting and audit matters. Having worked within the oil and gas industry for the last seven (7) years, I have developed a good understanding of the requirements of the industry and constantly met and exceeded expectations.
I read, write and speak fluent English and Malay, moderate Arabic and I also speak basic Japanese for now.
