General PractitionerDear Sir,
I learnt from my mentor recently about your ongoing recruitment process and I therefore present my application to you, seeking the position of a General Practitioner in your health facility. I graduated from the October 6 University, Cairo, Egypt, in the year 2009, after which I underwent an 12 months internship program from the Hamza Hospital, Jordan, where I was being trained and guided.
Throughout my internship, I have been involved in several treatment procedures for patients suffering from various diseases and disorders such as angina, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, strokes, COPD, Alzheimer's disease etc, under the guidance of MOH of Jordan professional doctors, which helped me in the development of my understanding in general practices of medicine.
Besides, I have also been engaged in home visits, family health planning and consultation, nutritional diet planning, obstetric services, and vaccinations. Implementing the theories that I learnt through my education has helped me acquire extensive knowledge, I am adept in diagnostic investigations, differential diagnosis, and immunizations. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate listening and communication skills, sound enough to give me the confidence to encounter challenging situations in the work environment.
I have attached my resume herewith, where you will find detailed information regarding my academic and professional history. Kindly consider my application favorably and provide me with an opportunity to demonstrate my skills and abilities more effectively. You may contact me anytime in order to discuss my application in detail.
I am looking forward to join your team and work towards increasing the efficiency of the medical operations within your facility.
