Duties, Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:
- Recieved endorsement from Am shift / Pm shift.
- Recieved all imporntant endorsement such as various forms to be completed like TRAMA FORM, Refusal
Form.
- Recieved pateint from outgoing duty nurse including guest, soldier/akari and other employee.
- Responsible to double checked all items borrowed.
- Responsible in informing the doctor on duty about the patient after doing the nursing assessment; referred to
the physician ASAP all the patient withabnormal vital signs, change in level of conciousness and patient who
refuse treatment, medications and insisting to be discharge unless seen by the doctor.
- Assisting the doctor in performing assessment and procedure.
- Responsible in performing the doctors: AM shift to refer in various clinic, PM shift refer ER doctor on duty
and Internal medicine doctor on duty
- Received Verbal and Telephone orders from the doctors in case of emergency, see to it that the ordering
physician must sign must the said order upon leaving the hospital.
- Responsible in clarifying orders from the physician.
- Responsible in documenting the outcomeof interventions and medications taken by the patient.
- Facilitates admission of patient, scheduled for endoscopy, colonoscopy, patients undergoing hunger strike
and all patients who are to be candidate for admission.
- Received chart together with the patients from OPD clinics or direct from their room.
- Carrying out and transcribing doctors order.
- Responsible in checking the documentation through the Metasoft System and in the logbooks.
