Job profile:

• Handling petty cash and making entries
• Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities.
• Ensure General Ledger entries are accurate and are in line with Company Procedures & International Accounting Standards.
• Monthly preparation of reconciliation statements (inter Branch, bank rec, debtors and creditors)
• Ensure reconciliation of all general ledgers is performed on regular basis.
• Produce and review the financial statements (balance sheet, income and cash flow statement).
• Ensure compliance with the reporting and accounting principles, statutory and VAT filings.
• Handling the whole range of Accounts Payable, Receivable & Budget Preparation.
• Verifying payroll reports and Management Reports.
• Prepare Projected & Actual Cash Flow Statements.
• Manage the Invoice Generation Operation & Credit Control.
• Calculating Depreciation for each month & pass Provisions for the month
• Finalize Trial Balance with supporting schedules.
• Monthly Softex filing (Software Export filing)
Key responsibilities:

• Verify accuracy of information in the accounting records.
• Daily vouching of transactions
• Preparation of interim accounts and financial statements
• Manage the day to day financial transactions of the company.
