I have worked with St.Luke's Medical Center-Philippines, a Joint Commission International accredited hospital as a Unit Dose Delivery System-Pharmacist. For three years and a half, I rotated through the Oncology Center, Intensive Care unit, NICU, PICU, Cardiac Care Unit, Telemetry Units and wards. The essential responsibilities of a UDDS pharmacist included maintaining a complete and accurate drug profile for in-patients, ensuring the correctness and completeness of standing medications, monitoring the correctness of medication administration and patient billing; preparing monthly reports on medication monitoring results on nursing units.

I transitioned to community pharmacy in Dubai to gain more experience in the provision of direct patient care services such as providing medication counseling and supply prescription and non-prescription medications to the public. I have encountered challenges in stocks inventory, controlled medicines inventory, customer complaints and insurance approvals.
