My name is Jennifer Olden and I have completed a Bachelor of Education degree in Mary Immaculate College, Ireland. I graduated in October 2017 with a 2.1 honours degree. In addition, I have completed probation. I am applying for a teacher position in the hopes of continuing and expanding my teaching experience in your school.
I have two years’ experience teaching children with various needs, mixed abilities and challenging behaviours. This provided beneficial learning experiences which has furthered my skills and knowledge.
I can contribute to your school by teaching through the multiple intelligences and enabling each child to develop their full potential as I undertook a multi-disciplinary route in the Bachelor of Education. I have developed an array of skills in areas ranging from Music to S.T.E.M learning to language education. As well as this I have experience on various sporting teams and experience conducting yoga and mindfulness in the classroom. My span of expertise can ensure holistic development of the child, helping to shape balanced and confident citizens.
Although I do not yet have experience of teaching in a U.K curriculum school I am eager to gain experience in one. As I am passionate in everything I do, I will make it my goal to master working with this curriculum and giving each child the best education they can get.
