I came across this Job vacancy through the Internet. I have been employed at AkzoNobel
Paints Lanka (Pvt) Ltd since March 2017 as a Senior Executive under decorative paints in
the Projects Sales Department. I am currently based in the Maldives as a Senior Techno
Commercial Executive in order to handle the country operations related to Sales, Marketing
& Technical issues in Decorative paints for AkzoNobel Sri Lanka.
As mentioned in my CV, I started my career in Marine coatings by joining PPG Industries in
2013 and following that, I was able to obtain hands on experience as a Technical Sales
Representative in Marine coating for Jotun paints
I would like to add that during my 2 years as a Technical Supervisor for marine coatings in
Colombo Dockyard PLC, I gained great expertise in working on more than 150 ships in
functions such as Blasting, Power tooling and Painting relevant to parts in a Vessel such as
the Hull, Deck and Tanks in compliance with the ISO standards. As a Technical Supervisor, I
gained experience in Team Work as well as handling and leading man power towards
successfully completing a Ship repair project within the given deadline and meeting the
customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, I believe that with the 5 years of Dry Dock expertise and experience I gained
by working with world renowned Marine Coating brands such as Sigma,Jotun,CMP.Hemple
and International I would be able to perform well in your company.
In addition to the above Professional Experience, I possess a certificate for “Corrosion and
Anti-Corrosive Protective Coatings” conducted by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka
(IESL). And in 2019 I commenced following a MBA program offered by the Asia E University
(Malaysia).
My previous employers were highly satisfied with my efficient and effective performance in
the company and I am confident that I can bring an even higher performance by joining to

I have the knowledge of handling all aspects of Technical Sales in Marine Coatings and
Decorative paints. I would love to be a team leader and work with a team to steer a company

eight years’ experience in Marine, Protective and Decorative Paints as a Technical Sales
