• Act as HSE management representative to ensure that all site activities meet with high standards of HSE at all times.
• Promote a culture of full compliance and continual improvement for all HSE requirements, ensuring compliance with legislation and company HSE policies.
• Provide leadership and guidance on continued development and implementation of HSE within a work place including policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Conducting incident investigations to determine root cause(s) and contributory factors; reporting of findings to management and suggestions for follow-up actions aimed at preventing a reoccurrence.
• Assisted in carrying out the risk assessment as per the procedures to identify the potential hazards and define the appreciate safety measures to be adapted.
• Assist HSE manager for all HSE aspects in order to promote and maintain a safe system of work.
• Act as the company representative when liaising with and reporting to the relevant authorities including Environmental Agency, Local Govt. Authorities, and Fire Dept. etc.
• Maintaining HSE documentation as per OHSAS: 18001.
