My name is Sidharth Sharma. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (2014) and have more than 7 years experience in the broad audit sector and have worked on the complete spectrum of management and internal audit, forensic audit and investigation, internal control and risk management statutory financial audit and due diligence in past years.
I am looking for a career move to enhance my capabilities in a more dynamic environment with advanced learning opportunities in a multinational organization and to relocate out of India for international work exposure in a multicultural environment.
I am curious by nature and have been a constant learner that led me to the field audit and consistently excel at my work. I have continuously taken up challenges in my current role and have achieved exceed expectations in each of my yearly performance evaluations.
Currently, I am working with Aditya Birla Group as part of corporate management audit team. My key responsibilities are to prepare risk based audit plan in consultation with business leaders, to conduct strategic audit to ensure implementation of industry best practices, to identify opportunities of cost saving and avoidable losses, to conduct follow up audit to verify action plan, to prepare audit report etc. Apart from that, I also conduct investigation to ensure integrity values.
Formerly, I was part of Singhi & Co. a chartered accountancy firm. During my employment I was part of various audit assignments (statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit). As a part of team I conducted due diligence, prepared financial statements as per newly introduced revised schedule VI and XBRL filing norms and various other assignments.
