Job Summary:
Facilitate guest check-ins and address payment issues while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist staff with expediting problem payments, such as credit card processing issues.
- Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction and resolve guest-related issues.
- Process guest check-ins, confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, accommodating special requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
- Review shift logs and document pertinent information.
- Count the cash bank at the beginning and end of the shift and balance receipts per accounting specifications.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Skills: Ability to move and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; strong communication skills and attention to detail.
