Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter to join our team at White Beach, Atlantis, The Palm. In this role, you will deliver exceptional fine dining service, ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Familiarize yourself with the complete food and beverage menu, including daily specials and promotional activities.
  • Monitor the consistency and quality of food and beverage items served, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff members, sharing knowledge of fine dining standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to the establishment’s grooming standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and supplies, notifying management of low stock levels.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in the dining area and comply with all food handling procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Waiter in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, including wines and cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certifications preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:
24+ months of relevant experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
