Job Summary:

Handle guest check-ins, payments, and room assignments while ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and resolving issues. Maintain positive relationships with both guests and team members.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins, verify identity, form of payment, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
  • Set up accurate guest accounts and enter Marriott Rewards information.
  • Ensure rates match market codes and secure payments before issuing room keys.
  • Compile and review daily reports, logs, and cashier closing reports.
  • Respond to guest requests, provide directions, and relay property information.
  • Handle payment types, vouchers, and billing adjustments.
  • Balance and secure cash bank during shift; follow accounting procedures.
  • Notify security of guest reports regarding theft or other incidents.
  • Assist management with training, evaluating, and motivating employees.
  • Maintain professional appearance, follow company policies, and protect company assets.
  • Support team collaboration, maintain confidentiality, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Use computers/POS systems, answer phones professionally, and perform additional tasks as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None required.
