Job Summary:
Join our Hotel Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations and immerse yourself in the exciting world of hospitality. Responsibilities:
- Participate in day-to-day hotel operations, rotating through multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Events.
- Assist in guest services, ensuring high-quality interactions with guests and contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
- Support hotel management teams in various administrative tasks, including scheduling, inventory management, and guest inquiries.
- Shadow department leaders to understand key processes such as revenue management, cost control, and service delivery standards.
- Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing guest experience, hotel efficiency, and team collaboration.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to gain insights into hotel management and operations.
- Provide assistance during high-traffic times, such as check-in, check-out, or large event functions, to support smooth hotel operations.
- Perform detailed observations of staff interactions and operations, providing feedback or suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to learn the fundamentals of customer service excellence, team management, and property maintenance.
- Help coordinate events, conferences, and group bookings, supporting the smooth execution of logistical details.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards in all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Must be a current college or university student pursuing a degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel management systems such as Opera is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated interest in the hospitality industry and a desire to build a career in hotel management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and contribute to a welcoming team environment.
