ROLE DESCRIPTION

 

Role Purpose:

 

To assist the company into all registrations required by UAE authorities, and secure shipments release as per agree lead time.

 

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

 

 

Operational Responsibilities

 

Responsible for the registration of all imported products whether with Dubai Municipality, Emirates Authority for Standardization and metrology, FTA or ministries.

To manage, control and follow up on all necessary documents, artworks or physical products needed from suppliers, for products registration.

Direct work and communication with merchandising team (Receiving registration inquiries for new selections, and reporting regularly the registration status for items under registration).

To be involved directly with Dubai municipality team (Solving blocking points , and treating  FIRS with challenges)

To coordinate, between Dubai municipality inspectors, warehouse team and stores, to schedule inspection, and manage sampling.

To build a personal relation with Dubai authorities, thru regular visits to governmental offices such as Ministry of environment & water (Organic products), Veterinary department (PET FOOD), Dubai Municipality (Food), ESMA (DPH and non-food) etc…, which is required to be always updated and aware about the changes and updates related to import regulations.

Support the supply chain manager with local border agencies including national customs authorities, ministries, ESMA and Dubai Municipality, chamber of commerce for all import/exports activities.

To update the Product Management Tool on daily basis.

Finance Responsibilities

 

  • Respect the procedures in accordance with the DOA;

 

  • Responsible to be within the budget and to take the required measures in case of significant gaps.

 

  • Ensure for in/out items, the stock is removed from DC before the end of promotion
