Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day activities of the team. Ensure Duty roasters are compiled and advise on changes as applicable. Responsible for preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling systems. Responsible for managing stock and inventories, vendors directory, contract agreement where applicable. Accountable for all the processes related with Supply chain: vendors registration, creation of codes, price update, etc. Responsible for submitting purchase orders. Verifying that the receiving process is managed accordingly to ensure that all expenses fall in their respective expense line, within the right month as per budget. Maintain highest level of Customer service in line with KPI’s and protocol as per your role in Destination Dining. Deliver exceptional and elevated customer service based on the theme of the property/restaurant etc. with hands on knowledge about the property/culture/cuisine associated with the theme. Maintain specialization in Wine, Food, Drinks, Customs, service in Destination Dining to ensure excellent service delivery. Anticipate Customer needs and deliver personalized service exceeding customer expectations thus creating memorable experience.

Job Summary:

An opportunity has arisen for a Private Dining - Team Leader to join Burj Al Arab Jumeirah .

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Private Dining Service, preferably with an international hospitality company.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Micros.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Additional language would be an advantage (preferably Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian)
  • Knowledge of LQA / Forbes standards is preferred.
