Job Summary:
We are seeking a Seasonal Team Leader for the F&B Service Team at Jumeirah Al Naseem. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction in line with Jumeirah’s luxury standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the workflow and sequence of service during operational hours, offering hands-on support.
- Oversee cashiering procedures, ensuring compliance with Jumeirah’s financial protocols.
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback, addressing complaints and escalating unresolved issues to management.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and coaching of team members to ensure service standards are met.
- Lead pre-service shift briefings in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Ensure that daily opening and closing checklists are completed and maintained.
- Provide constant observation and coaching to ensure F&B SOPs are followed consistently.
- Support the team in upselling and enhancing the guest experience through product knowledge and service excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale bar.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of F&B applications, including Micros and Sevenrooms.
- Ability to handle guest relations and manage a team in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional hospitality or F&B certifications preferred.
Work Hours:
Seasonal contract from October to May, full-time, with flexibility based on operational needs.
Experience in Months:
24 months (2 years) in a similar position, ideally in luxury dining or hospitality.
