Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join the Housekeeping team at Jumeirah Al Naseem. The Team Leader will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the property.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the front office to ensure all guest areas are prepared according to operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the banqueting and food and beverage departments to maintain cleanliness in all relevant areas.
  • Work closely with the engineering department to report and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs.
  • Check VIP rooms prior to arrival and during their stay to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Ensure housekeeping pantries are stocked with linen, guest supplies, and cleaning products based on set par levels.
  • Supervise and implement scheduled deep cleaning programs across the property.
  • Ensure the upkeep and freshness of plants and flowers, coordinating with the florist for necessary touch-ups.
  • Maintain adherence to fire safety procedures and ensure all team members are trained.
  • Assist in conducting monthly and quarterly inventory of housekeeping supplies.
  • Allocate room cleaning tasks to housekeeping attendants and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers, logging any key information, guest requests, or operational changes.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage daily housekeeping operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple departments and staff.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or housekeeping management certifications are an advantage.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time role, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • 12–24 months of experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader in a 5-star resort or luxury hotel.
