Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Manager to join the Kids Club at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Kids Club, ensuring all activities align with hotel standards.
  • Lead, direct, and support the Kids Club team, including Team Leaders and Play Attendants.
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and health guidelines are adhered to.
  • Actively promote and encourage guest participation in Kids Club activities, events, and programs.
  • Supervise the Babysitting Service, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.
  • Report regularly to the Assistant Sport & Leisure Manager and collaborate with other hotel departments to optimize service.
  • Motivate, mentor, and train staff to ensure high performance and development in childcare practices.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns and ensuring a high-quality experience for children and parents.
  • Monitor inventory and equipment, ensuring sufficient supplies and safe play materials for all activities.
  • Coordinate special events, parties, and themed activities within the Kids Club, managing logistics and resources.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a Kids Club, childcare, or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare practices and previous hands-on experience in child development or related fields.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with colleagues, parents, and children.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.

 

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Childcare, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as per operational requirements.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months in a supervisory or management role in a childcare or hospitality setting.
